Background Information:

Louisa is a person centred counsellor completing her level four diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at Kirklees College in 2019. Louisa is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is working towards accreditation. Louisa has also received additional training in Online and Telephone Counselling, Working with health professionals as clients of long Covid, and Guided self help for eating difficulties. As well as her work with Insight, Louisa also works with clients of persistent physical symptoms, and long Covid in her NHS job. Due to Louisa’s person centred training, she commits to offer the three core conditions of congruence, empathy, and unconditional positive regard within her work, and believes that client autonomy, coupled with the core conditions, will lead to self empowerment of clients.
